Alyssa Corcoran is the founder and head trainer at Venture Canine. Her passion for dog training began after private lessons with her own dog sparked a deep love for helping dogs and their owners. While studying at Sacramento State University, Alyssa chose to focus fully on expanding her training skills, earning certifications from The Michael Ellis School for Dog Trainers and gaining hands-on experience interning with Sierra Canine Training in Reno. She’s dedicated to building calm, reliable dogs through positive, motivational methods tailored to each family’s needs.To make training easy and convenient, Alyssa offers personalized pickup and drop-off services, ensuring your dog’s training fits seamlessly into your busy life. But her commitment doesn’t end when the program does—she builds ongoing relationships with clients to support continued success and growth for you and your dog.In her free time, Alyssa enjoys exploring the desert and mountains with her three Siberian huskies: Akino, Maya, and Nitro.
